OUR SERVICES

BS 5837 TREE SURVEYS
These tree surveys are often asked for by the local planning authority (LPA) to support a planning application where trees are present on site.
Early procurement of a tree survey can avoid costly delays and changes to design layouts, by identifying potential conflicts with trees, and working with the design team to find practical solutions.
With experience ranging from simple, single story extensions to developments of multiple new build properties, as well as surveying for civil engineering projects, we are confident we can help you achieve your goals.
TREE CONDITION SURVEYS
Also known as tree health and safety surveys, tree hazard assessments, duty of care, risk management reports etc. These surveys seek to assess the risks posed by trees, and where necessary recommend mitigation measures.
By having an independent survey valuable/sentimental trees can be saved from 'the chop', and savings can be made over larger tree stock by only carrying out works which are truly needed.
With experience ranging from single memorial trees, to land owners with thousands of trees across multiple sites, and everything in between, we are well placed to help manage your trees.

OTHER TYPES OF TREE SERVICES
BS 5837 and tree condition surveys make up the vast bulk of our work, however other arboricultural consultancy services are sometimes required, and we are of course happy to help with these too. This could be a tree survey requested by a mortgage lender or insurer provider, an application to work on a tree covered by a tree preservation order (TPO), a notification of intent to carry out works to a tree in conservation area (CA), or tree pest and disease identification.
In any of these cases please contact us to discuss your requirements.
WHAT WE DON'T DO
We do not offer tree surgery services. This avoids any conflict of interest in the form of prescribing tree works which are not strictly necessary, which we then carry out and benefit from at your expense - you'd be surprised how often this does happen!
If you are looking for a recommended company however, we are happy to make suggestions.
We also don't pad out reports with endless pages of waffle, irrelevant templates and complicated terms to justify our fees and bamboozle you. We keep reports concise and use plain English, so you can easily understand them, only getting technical when it's important to achieve the desired outcome.
